The EPIK Sport project recently held a transnational meeting in Izmir, Turkey, bringing together partners from Croatia, Italy, Portugal, Serbia and Turkey to review project progress and plan the next phases of work.
During the meeting, partners presented the latest developments, including the finalisation of the Educational Prevention and Intervention Kit (EPIK) and progress on the e-module (MOOC) for coaches and sports professionals. Discussions also covered the pilot implementation of the EPIK training programme, the development of guidelines for integrating the EPIK into sport organisations and strategies for raising awareness of injury prevention.
In addition, the updated EPIK project website and communication tools were presented to increase visibility and engagement within the sports community. The meeting concluded with the definition of immediate next steps and a shared timeline for upcoming activities.
The next project meeting is scheduled for March 2025 in Niš, Serbia, where partners will continue to monitor developments and progress towards the project’s goals.
The EPIK Sport project reaffirms its commitment to promoting educational and preventive interventions in sport through collaboration and knowledge sharing.
